Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead the Human Resources and Administration function for our Non-Projects division. This role requires a strong focus on employee relations, statutory compliance, administration, and end-to-end HR operations, with a deep understanding of the infrastructure/industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration
Oversee general administration including office facilities, housekeeping, security, transport, and hospitality.
Manage contracts and vendors efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
Liaisoning
Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and central government bodies.
Ensure timely submission of documents and manage communications with authorities.
Employee Relations (ER)
Foster a harmonious work environment through regular interaction and meetings with employee committees (e.g., Safety, Grievance, Canteen).
Promote workplace discipline and a culture of respect and professionalism.
Employee Welfare
Manage welfare programs including medical assistance, insurance, canteen services, and health initiatives.
Facilitate financial assistance and loan support through internal schemes.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Oversee statutory compliances related to labor laws and HR regulations.
Manage leave and attendance systems.
Talent Acquisition
Lead recruitment activities across all non-project functions.
Conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and onboard new hires effectively.
Ensure fair hiring practices and adherence to internal compensation structures.
Talent Management
Support employee integration through periodic check-ins and feedback sessions.
Address grievances and maintain high employee engagement.
Conduct compensation benchmarking and workforce planning.
Performance Management System (PMS)
Implement and manage the PMS cycle.
Conduct awareness workshops and ensure timely reviews and promotions.
Maintain and update HRMS records accurately.
Training & Development
Drive functional and soft skills training.
Maintain competency matrices and training records.
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms.
Employee Engagement
Execute action plans from engagement surveys.
Plan and organize social and cultural events.
Support future survey initiatives for continuous improvement.
High Potential (HiPo) Program
Identify and develop high-potential employees in line with organizational growth plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
Postgraduate degree in HR (MBA/PGDM – HR, MSW, or MHRM).
12+ years of HR experience in transmission line/infrastructure sectors.
Age: Preferably 35–40 years.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive, approachable, and empathetic personality.
Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Goal-oriented with excellent planning and analytical abilities.
