Job Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) Marketing, Business Development & Tendering
Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced professional to lead marketing, business development, and tendering initiatives for our electrical conductors and cables product line. This strategic role will focus on expanding our footprint in the government and public sector domains, particularly with clients such as PGCIL, State Electricity Boards (SEBs), power, EPC’s, renewables, railways, infrastructure bodies, airports, and other key public sector undertakings (PSUs) across India. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in government tendering processes, pricing strategies, and stakeholder engagement, along with a proven track record of securing high-value projects and nurturing long-term institutional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Lead end-to-end tendering and bidding processes for government and PSU projects, ensuring competitive pricing, technical compliance, and                  timely submissions.
·         Drive business development and marketing strategies to target key public sector clients including PGCIL, SEBs, power, EPC’s, renewables etc.                and similar organizations across India.
·         Conduct market intelligence and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and assess competitor activities.
·         Ensure proper coordination of site visits, pre-bid meetings, and technical clarifications with client organizations.
·         Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal, supply chain) to ensure alignment and readiness for bid responses.
·         Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders across utilities, infrastructure companies, railways, airport authorities,           and state-level boards.
·         Manage and monitor payment collections, including timely follow-ups for milestone-based payments and retention amounts.
·         Represent the organization at relevant trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry forums to enhance visibility and build strategic partnerships.
Key Requirements:
·         10–15 years of progressive experience in marketing, business development, or tendering in the electrical goods or infrastructure sector.
·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Educational Qualifications:
·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
·         An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business Development, or Strategy is highly preferred.
