Job Overview:
The Head of Safety will lead, manage, and ensure full implementation of EHS
(Environment, Health, and Safety) policies, procedures, and regulations across all
Power Transmission and Substation projects. The role involves strategic planning,
risk management, and leadership to promote a strong safety culture throughout the
organization. This position will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and
project managers to ensure compliance with IMS, HSE manuals, and legal
standards, fostering a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
execution of comprehensive EHS policies, aligning with IMS, HSE manuals,
and organizational goals across all project sites.
adhere to legal and regulatory safety requirements, conducting regular audits
and reviews.
Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Methods. Proactively identify potential
hazards and implement risk control measures to mitigate them.
continuous learning for all staff, subcontractors, and workmen through regular
training sessions on safety practices and procedures.
incidents, near misses, and accidents. Implement corrective and preventive
actions (CAPA) to minimize future risks.
EHS campaigns to promote safety awareness and ensure adherence to best
practices.
ensuring effective safety management across all projects. Develop a strong
safety culture through mentorship and clear communication.
use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), first aid kits, work permit
systems, and that all new workers undergo thorough safety induction.

Qualifications & Skills:
