Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

           ▪  Coating Resins to develop and map out the sales & marketing plan / strategies for Coating Resins businesses in India and exports outside India and plan selling operations to achieve targeted sales turnover and profits.

           ▪  Working closely with technical team to ensure solid performance in new product development, existing product improvement as well as strong technical support to customers.

           ▪  Lead & Manage Price, Volume & Margins for the allocated territory & customers in Coating Resins business unit.

           ▪  Understanding the techno-economics of product vs competitor product to decide on product positioning in market – Value selling approach is must.

           ▪  Development of Price offer and quotation to customers and follow pricing / Margin policy.

           ▪  Analyse and propose payment / credit terms for various customers and condition of sales.

           ▪  Manage business with key accounts and maintain multilevel relationships to ensure sustained business with them.

           ▪  Lead formation of customer specific business strategies, Develop annual sales plans, recommend long term & short term strategies to achieve sales targets.

          ▪   Handle customer queries & complaints related to products through close interaction with technical support team.

          ▪   Provide inputs to R & D team for development of new products & modification of existing products for continuous business growth and increased profitability.

          ▪   Gather market intelligence with respect to competitor activities, market trends & pricing scenario.

 

Qualification & Experience:

          ▪   B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Technology ( Paints or Polymer) or MSc Chemistry with around 12-15 years of experience in handling Sales & business development in Chemical products in B2B environment

          ▪   Experience in handling sales of Resins or other products to coating industry is preferred

          ▪   Knowledge of SAP & CRM is preferred

          ▪   Ideal candidate should be techno commercial professional who can understand & outline the value proposition to customers in B2B environment

          ▪   Good team player with good presentation & communication skills

          ▪   Result oriented, Self-starter & Self motivated
