Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sector Oversight: Lead the strategic development for the Defense & Shipyards Sector,

ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals. Formulate and execute comprehensive

coverage strategies that integrate market foresight to drive sector growth tapping into

indigenization opportunities in AirForce and Army.

  • Client Engagement and Partnership Development: Maintain and expand strategic partnerships

with key stakeholders across the Sector, including military departments, government bodies,

and defense contractors. Act as the principal negotiator and relationship manager, ensuring

consistent engagement and alignment with sector needs and expectations.

  • Product Development: Identify and pursue emerging customer needs, and work closely with

R&D team to develop specialty cables for sector-nuanced customer needs.

  • Business Development: Engage with customer counterparts, communicating product details

and USP. Negotiate high-value contracts and close deals that significantly contribute to the

company's revenue and strategic goals.

  • Performance Metrics and P&L accountability: Hold accountability for sector sales performance

and pricing strategies, ensuring they reflect both market conditions and Company's corporate

objectives.

  • Team Management: Set, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators for the KAM in

Defense and Shipyards sector.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and

technical teams to ensure that the product offerings align with client needs and sector demands. Coordinate with sales operations team to ensure timely execution of enquiries.
